Dressing Makeup and Style Tips for Latin and Olive Skin tones:
Olive
skin beauties need less makeup but wearing more of it can create
a high glamour look. Lips can go light or dramatic with colors in
a variation of brown tones but the best is russets and shades of
terra cotta. For evenings, plums or wine colors create a fabulous
statement. Avoid pinks and oranges. They will do nothing for you.
Use a lip
pencil a shade that is very slightly darker than your lipstick
to maximize a luscious mouth. Fill in lips with pencil with vertical
strokes. This helps to make the lipstick
last longer. Apply two layers. Blot the first with a tissue, then
reapply. A dusting of powder between layers also makes lipstick
stayin place longer. Finish with a dab of tgCosmetics Luminous
Lips lip gloss on the center of the lower lip.
Foundation:

foundation.
Emphasize the eyes. Shadow color here
can be strong, especially in shades of browns, chocolate, silver,
bronze or olive.
The
eyelashes can be dark, thick and long with the right application
of tgCosmetics mascara.
Take your time with this, allow 1- 2 minutes after each application
of mascara to avoid smearing. Use three coats of mascara
applied to the upper lashes, then two coast on the lower lashes.
Let dry between coats and wipe away smudges with a Q tip or disposable
applicator . If mascara clumps, use atgCosmetics
lash comb to separate lashes before they dry. For an extra boost,
brush mascara on the upper side of lashes. Always use makeup remover
to remove mascara before bed. Leaving it on dries out lashes and
causesthem to break and thin over time. Reapplying
mascara at the end of the day is ok but do it lightly to avoid clumping.
Olive skin tends to be oily so powder around the eyes to avoid runny
mascara. If your skin is oily, use tgCosmetics
tissue blots to absorbe facial oil that may occur while wearing
makeup.
Eyes:
With the eyes, color is key. A brush works best with shadow but
you can use atgCosmetics disposable
applicator to get very similar effects. Try a rich plum or chocolate
shadow, such as our Mauve or Wine, or Nutmeg eye
shadows, run the color along the crease from the inner corner
out to the end of the brows. Then do a second coat, repeating the
same stroke. Soften the shadow line with a brush or applicator pulling
the color down from the crease and blending it out over the lid
so that there is just a light tint of color. Stroke any residual
powder left on the brush or applicator onto the upper lashes.
Along the lower
lashline, add definition by brushing a brown or wine shade of eye
shadow along the lower half of the lower lid. If you extend the
color slightly beyond the actual lashline, youll give your
eyes a more dramatic look.
Remember, mascara
is good for only 2-3 months. After that it gets dry, clumps and
is unhygenic.
